At 9:30 AM, your day begins with a guided visit to the enchanting Garden of Dreams, where the healing power of nature comes to life. Here, you’ll learn about ancestral medicinal plants used for generations in Andean traditional medicine. Each plant holds a story, an energy, and a purpose that invites you to reconnect with nature and yourself.
Next, we’ll be welcomed by Inés Bonilla, a respected community midwife, who will share her knowledge in an intimate and heartfelt conversation. In this part of the Spirituality, Purification and Midwife experience, you’ll explore the role of midwifery in Andean life, including traditional pregnancy care, the sacred vertical birthing method, and postnatal rituals. These practices offer insight into the sacred bond between women, community, and natural healing.
At 10:30 AM, we’ll take a short walk to a sacred site, surrounded by peaceful nature and spiritual energy. Awaiting us is a Yachak (Andean wise healer), who will lead a powerful purification ritual. This spiritual bath is designed to cleanse negative energy, restore inner balance, and reconnect you with the cosmos and Pachamama (Mother Earth). It’s a sacred, meditative moment that captures the essence of a true blend of healing, reflection, and ancestral ceremony.
